Go Games This is a Board Game Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did run on a b/w 68030 processor under System 7.1, but the behaviour on a ColorScreen of a PowerMacintosh running System 7.1.2 was not satisfying. Our advice: use only on 68030 processors, or try with caution on a 68040 processor - Reasonable graphic display and user (mouse) interface. - User selectable board sizes, from 3 X 3 to 19 X 19. - Stones are optionally displayed with or without numbers. - 3 modes of play: computer vs. computer, computer vs. human, and human vs. human. - Look ahead upto a width of 5 nodes and a depth of 5 levels (not practical for 19 X 19 board size). Look ahead moves can be optionally displayed during the look ahead process. - Ability to record a game, and play back all or part of recorded games. Back to the Computer Games Index
